We’re not claiming fun was invented in 1957. But by all accounts, that’s when a good deal of it was discovered – the year the Sportster® line was born. With it came a torque-laden V-Twin, a lean frame and good times. Since then, the Sportster has changed, but it’s never forgotten its purpose. If you need to get reacquainted with what that is, we offer the new, rip-roaring Sportster 1200 Roadster. It starts with a rubber-mounted Evolution® engine, in silver and black powder-coat. It’s stronger and quicker, thanks to high-compression, high-flow heads and performance cams. Every trip through the gears is pure excitement. The frame retains the fabled XL agility, so winding roads are more like asphalt playgrounds. We finished with a wide polished bar, aggressive two-up seat, tach with a 6000 RPM redline and classic two-tone tank with vintage graphics. Yet again, the Sportster makes you smile.
